Summary of apprentice commencements & completions to 31st August 2022.
There was an improvement in August commencements of 4831 which is down to -23.89% against the August 2021 result of 6349 commencements.
Female apprenticeship commencements at 156 are -10.39% against the August 2021 result of 174 and represent 3.22% of the total 4831 commencements to 31st August 2022.
School based commencements at 194 are +5.43% against the August 2021 result.
Completions at 2858 are +16.78% against the August 2021 result of2448. This result to 31st August if it continues indicates a record number of completions in 2022
